How does the legal assistance sector understand the ‘legal need’ the Government funds it to meet? This report summarises the results of 24 interviews and three workshops involving 138 workers from the legal assistance sector nationally. It presents sector perspectives on the nature of its client's legal need and how it is generated in the context of disadvantage. August 2024
